I'm thinking about doing one of two things right now. I figured I'd ask you guys. I was thinking today I wanted to do something more than just hack sadx, so here's the choices I've come up with. Make a Genesis game hack, or build my own 2D Sonic engine using Blender. Of course, I'll be asking for help from either one, but I need to know what people would prefer to see. The Genesis hack would be easiest to do, but less fun at the same time. The 2D game would be much more fun, but made easily harder because of need to program and model everything. Now simply put, I'm leaning the way of the game, this is because I made a classic Sonic sign earlier today. I've got a shot of the model and a mock-up of what it would look like when in-game. Rendered of course.

Now I'm possibly not going to follow this poll by what you all decide on. I will continue to choose it myself, but it's like a 75% chance to follow what you guys decide on and 25% of not following the decision. Just kind of depends. Anyway, vote guys, we'll all have fun in the end. And if anyone here has some experience with the lovely program called Blender, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate any help offered.

You should definitly make the game the harder challenge will make it more fun and you can think out of the box and dont have to follow how it is on the genesis game data

Well, the thing about making a Genesis hack is the ability to do literally anything with an already made engine. It's pretty easy to do stuff if you have the knowledge of the ASM68K Language. I don't want that crap though xD.
