Name of the project:
Sonic the Hedgehog Next Gen DX (Originally started July 2008 on sadxforum.co.uk/Sonicforum.net)

Description:
A mod of Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut to look like Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Characters List:
Sonic: Next Gen Sonic
Tails: Next Gen Tails
Knuckles: Next Gen Knuckles
Amy: Next Gen Amy
Big: High-Resolution Big
E-102 Gamma: E-123 Omega
Super Sonic: Next Gen Super Sonic
Metal Sonic: Metal Sonic/Silver/Shadow (DLC Pack, planned from the original mod in 2008, a autoinstaller will place the new CHRMODELS.DLL into your system directory and back up the old ones, use of this program will switch out Metal Sonic/Silver/Shadow)

Stage List:
Emerald Coast - Wave Ocean
Windy Valley - Kingdom Valley
Casinopolis - High-Resolution Casinopolis (Originally custom level Soleanna Casino in 2008 Mod, idea dropped)
Ice Cap - White Acropolis
Twinkle Park - High-Resolution Twinkle Park (Originally Tropical Jungle in 2008 Mod, idea dropped, due to the fact it looked nothing like the original level)
Speed Highway - Crisis City
Red Mountain - Flame Core
Sky Deck - High-Resolution Sky Deck (Originally 3D Remake of Flying Battery from S3&K in 2008 Mod, Plan dropped, idea of a S3&K level in a '06 mod was dumb)
Final Egg - Aquatic Base

Levels for characters besides Sonic will be announced at a later time.

Extra Information:
Mod will be created using the following tools.

DXEdit: For level object placement.
Nettapu's PVM Tools (Packer and Unpacker): will be used to edit SADX's PVM/PVR files
Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0: To edit textures and make them look well in-game, i have the PVR plugin also so PVR's will be edited in Shop.
SADXTweaker: Trial level select editing, to attempt to get the closest thing to Sonic '06 level order.

Lastly, i'd like to say that this mod isn't a ripoff of STH360DX, it's been around since before it, i just took a long hiatus/break to hone my SADX skills, the scene has changed quite a bit since my last outing and much more tools and possibilities are at my disposal, also, all content used in this mod is leftover from the original STHNGDX, nothing is taken from STH360DX, real Sonic '06 textures and customs are to be used in the game, nothing shall be stolen.

So this is based on Next-Gen? Good luck beating Mephiles' Sth360DX, his mod looks the best compared to the official Next-Gen game. his mod contains model edits, layout edits, SFX, etc.

Anyway, good luck with your mod.

There's actually no thing as music 'hacking'. It's just converting a song to a .wma, which is easy to do, so to be honest, nobody can be 'the best' =P.

WWEDX2007, why make it at all? mephelistheD has a perfectly good mod, besides, unless you gan get official game rips, and all that jazz, it will only tie with Mephelis' mod, not beat it. sorry man, just wanted to put that out there

UPDATE: Wave Ocean Part 2 is done, all that needs to be done now is the Objects, Background, and Object Rearrangement and it will be ready for a video.

Oh my god thank you, you're the first person to offer help in this, do you have MSN, AIM, or Skype? that would help us discuss the mod.

Also here's another update.

UPDATE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Ring texture will be used in the mod.
