...Gohan, I think you got confused somewhere. Those characters you listed are NOT in the game, except Sonic.(Fun fact, "Sonic's new friend Mr. Needlemouse" is a direct reference to his original name.) Notice that Knuckles and Tails weren't on the list, meaning they could very well be in. This is not new news to me that it's called Sonic 4. I read this last month on Retro where Kotaku released this info that it's called been called Sonic 4 internally at SEGA, this was just a confirmation. I did notice on the site that it only has one other character slot besides Sonic, probably reserved for Eggman. (A.K.A. Dr. Robotnik.) Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I? Do they plan do have a Half-Life2 styled release system? I hope not, that'd be terrible... The model they're using also appears to be a variant of his Unleashed appearence. (Which is by no means a bad thing.) CG Enviroments means the Hedgehog rendering engine could be the thing they're using here, video doesn't show enough to confirm or deny that.

Chip wouldnt realy fit to the game he had his story and i hope there will be atleast 100 levels xD dont want some short game that i can finisch with ma eyes closed

Most people are idiots about why they hate it, but Tweaker (Sonic Megamix creator) points out some certain things that are right. I leaked some info last night that was officially released today. It proved Tweaker's theory that they're doing nothing but re-using badniks and bosses, nothing new will be added from what the Intro said last night. I have yet to read the official release of it...

Just read the official release, it's the exact same, no fixing of the issues it has. For this game, I expect it to be decent, but not a true blue Sonic the Hedgehog 4. They just can't ever pull that off without Yuji Naka and the original team. WHY YUJI NAKA?! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE?!?!

Most people are arguing about Sonic's present design, like, he got skinnier, his eyes became green, he became taller, but since there is a game coming out that goes back to the classics, they'll expect that everything goes classic again. But Sonic has to move on, I mean, he exists 18 years, but SEGA says that he is 16, and I dont think that the classic, tiny and fat Sonic would fit like a 16 year old. He became older, he is a teenager, and I dont think that going back to his classic design would make any sense.

While you are decently correct sir, people are mad more over how Sega mislead everyone into thinking it was going to be a classic Sonic and not the new age. First trailer, Sega used Sonic sprites on their websites. I mean, everything they did pointed to a classic design for Sonic. While it doesn't bother me in the slightest, as I love both classic and new age Sonic design styles. What bothers me more is how everyone took the 3-5 second clip of gameplay (I don't beleve it's honest gameplay, they used flash animation for the entire trailer.) and tearing it apart. A real gameplay trailer will probably be coming within the next week or so. A guy over at Retro cracked it and viewed some updated contents, a trailer was noted for being on release soon.
