 Post subject: Sonic 4, the here and now

Alright, since I don't want to bump the old topic, I suppose I'll make this one for the game. I'm gonna discuss Sonic 4 Ep1's failures and then what's going to happen for Sonic 4 Ep2 from the information I've gathered.

Sonic 4 Ep1:
Physics are so bad I wanted to gouge my eyes out. Sonic can go faster than in his classics games, but tell me when the classic games were more about speed than platforming. Please, find me one instance of this being the case in Sonic 1-3&K. Spindash is completely useless aside from gaining quick speed only to lose it on the super sticky surface that all levels of the game have. The homing attack, the new item, is even gimped. Sonic never lost momentum in the air from using, yet he does in Sonic 4. This applies for just flying through the air in general. Hold the analog stick to the right and boom, you'll keep moving. Let it go and you'll stop mid-flight like hitting a brick wall. Come on Izuka, you must have something better planned for Ep2 right? Guess what, he doesn't.

Sonic 4 Ep2:
I've heard them mention more characters to be in it. It's unclear as to whether Izuka means more playable characters in it or just more of them in the story. So far, I can safely confirm three characters. Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Robotnik I can also safely say that Tails has about a 95% chance of being in the game. He was referenced in Ep1, and will likely be in Ep2.

Now for the evils that Ep2 will release on us. The physics won't be fixed. The level design won't be changed. Dimps is still making it with only minor help from Sonic Team. Izuka is still the lead designer, and he's an awful person. He's went around every question that he's been asked, and will never directly state what's going. He also thinks the feedback on Sonic 4 has been amazing. There's one problem with that. Most of the sites I visit have stated that this was the worst way they could have done Sonic 4. Not only that, but SoA has no part in making Sonic 4's Episodes. It's all on SoJ. Anything SoA says to SoJ gets shut out basically, and Izuka won't look at the complaints due to his overzealous egotistical conniving ways. Basically, unless SoA somehow breaks through to SoJ, the rest of the Sonic 4 game is gonna be re-hash after re-hash. We'll basically be playing the same game, over and over again. Averaging $15 per Episode, I won't be getting it unless I have money to waste, or if it proves to be better than Ep1. We'll see how it goes.
