Alright guys, since you all know I'm going to write one, let me know what model I should do. I'm going to give some options here. And there is one I've already done for my own mod that I will be willing to redo for here.
-Sonic's head over Super's head (Allows for making a sphere map on Super, which I will explain how to do aswell.)
-Tikal over Knuckles (Just an idea I suppose people would want. This would also only be a start to it, not the entire thing. That requires much more time.)
-Any other ideas are welcome, but keep them simple ones. The ones that are reasonable will be added up here for a final vote in the next few days.

Super Sonic on Tails.
Amy head on Metal.

Knuckles head on Knuckles gliding head can be done with model editing since they're the same size, of course you would have to replace both of them in case you want to edit knux his head but still.
Just so you know.

Knuckles' hands on Sonic's maybe?... I don't know lol

Hm...let's see here. Doing hands means breaks in the model, but people seem to be used to that stuff now. I can do any of those, but remember, after this tutorial, you all will have to just follow it on other models to figure it out. As for the Knux stand on Knux glide, just follow my model swap guide, or do what Zarosguth said and just replace the vertex structs. Just note that Knuckles uses a few morph targets, so those would need to have the vertex structs replaced aswell. To get those, just search for the first bytes in the vertex struct and you'll find them all.

After thinking about it a bit more I think I have one that may be a bit more interesting. How about putting one of Tails his tails over Sonic his tail? Just a thought though.

So give Sonic a fox tail basically. That would be interesting, but because of how Tails' tail is done, it'll look wierd without a vertex edit.
